A new website for The League Against Cruel Sports

With the importance of their work growing daily, The League Against Cruel Sports needed a new digital solution that would better support them by not only raising greater awareness but also encouraging greater support and engagement in the cause. 

Having had their previous website for a number of years, the team felt it had become too time consuming and inflexible to manage, and no longer met the needs of the organisation. We worked with the team to get to the heart of what would really make a difference to both them and their audience from the new website.  

Using our proven web design discovery process, we interviewed the various user groups, and mapped their needs and expectations to create a new user journey that made finding information much easier. We also streamlined the donor journey by integrating a bespoke donation platform into the website, providing users with a seamless and engaging experience when donating, and encouraging ongoing support in the form of regular giving.

The charity team highlighted the need to improve the internal processes and administration linked to the website too. This resulted in the creation of an online platform for their annual photography competition, to manage the overwhelming number of entries received every year, and the development of an Animal Crimewatch form, to allow the general public to report animal welfare concerns quickly and easily, enabling the charity to take fast action where needed.
