We’ve had a great start to 2023 here at Giant. Not only have we gained several new clients in the first few weeks of the year, but we’ve also welcomed a new team member – one we are all very pleased to have join us!
Gaby Frylinck, our new Product Designer (Creative), brings a wealth of design expertise from her previous work and studies, and will be supporting the product team with UX-led creative input for our wonderful charity clients.
Having already gained a BA (Hons) in Graphic Communication at UCA in 2019, Gaby is currently working towards her MA in User Experience Design, which she is due to complete at the end of April this year.
Alongside her studies, Gaby has amassed plenty of creative experience, both as a freelance designer and as a member of a well-established local design agency. She spent over 4 years supporting clients in the health, beauty, interiors and construction sectors, and is now looking forward to using her transferable skills to support charities in their digital journey.
I love what Giant represents. The passion and drive to make change within the charity sector and help charities make a change and help others is something I am really passionate about. The work we do gives a sense of purpose within the creative sector.
Gaby’s interest in the third sector extends beyond her work at Giant too – she recently engaged with an animal rescue charity which resulted in her adopting her dog Maya, who was found abandoned on the street. She is also hoping to learn British Sign Language or Makaton later this year.
With expertise in web design, UX and user interface design (as well as print design), Gaby has already delivered some fantastic work for our clients, even in her first few weeks with us. She has brought fresh ideas and creativity, founded in an understanding of user-led needs – an approach we believe should be central to all our work. Her skills and enthusiasm are a welcome addition to the product team, and we are looking forward to seeing Gaby flourish at Giant.
