As a Digital Designer at Giant Digital, you will be at the forefront of creating compelling and innovative digital designs that resonate with our charitable and ethical clients. This role is a unique opportunity to blend creativity with purpose, designing digital assets that not only look great but also contribute to meaningful social and environmental change.
Emphasis on Interactive Experience: As a Digital Designer at Giant Digital, your role will be centred on UI design with a keen awareness that user interfaces are not static entities. Your responsibility will be to create interfaces that are not only visually appealing but also deeply interactive, reflecting the dynamic nature of user interactions in the digital space.
Development of Responsive Prototypes: You will develop both high-fidelity static mock-ups and advanced dynamic prototypes that demonstrate how the UI adapts and responds to user interactions. This process will involve a thoughtful transition from initial concepts to fully interactive prototypes, showcasing the fluidity and responsiveness of the design.
Mastery of Design Tools for Dynamic Prototyping: Proficiency in modern design tools like Figma is essential. These tools will enable you to craft prototypes that effectively communicate the interactive and dynamic aspects of the UI, illustrating how design elements behave in different user scenarios.
Enhanced "Motion" Interaction Design: A significant part of your role will be to integrate motion design into our UIs to create more engaging and intuitive user experiences. This includes designing subtle animations that guide users through their interactions with our digital products. Your ability to use motion to enhance the storytelling aspect of the UI, without overwhelming the user experience, is key.
Design Systems Development: You will contribute to the development and maintenance of our design systems, ensuring consistency and efficiency in our design process. This includes creating reusable components and design standards that can be applied across various projects.
Motion Graphics and Short Form Video Editing: In this digital era, dynamic content is king. You'll use your skills in motion graphics and video editing to create short but impactful video content that can effectively convey our clients' messages and engage their audiences.
Social Media Assets Creation: You'll be responsible for designing eye-catching and engaging social media graphics that capture the essence of our clients' campaigns and messages. Your designs will need to be adaptable across various social media platforms, maintaining brand consistency while optimising for each platform's unique requirements.
eBooks and Infographics: Crafting informative and visually appealing eBooks and infographics will be a significant part of your role. Your ability to distil complex information into easy-to-understand, engaging visual formats will be key in helping us and our clients communicate impact and stories.
Marketing and Branding Collateral: You will play a pivotal role in designing internal marketing and branding assets that help Giant Digital stand out in the digital agency space. This includes creating visually striking materials for presentations, proposals, and other client-facing documents that reflect our unique approach and values.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborating with our marketing, sales, and project teams to understand their needs and deliver design solutions that effectively communicate Giant Digital's expertise and success stories. This role requires a deep understanding of our brand identity and the ability to translate it into compelling visual narratives.
