British Wireless for the Blind Fund chooses Giant Digital for accessibility-led website redesign

We’re proud to be working with British Wireless for the Blind Fund (BWBF) - a national charity that provides free, specially adapted audio technology to people living with sight loss. The organisation has appointed us to redesign and rebuild their website, placing accessibility and user experience front and centre.

For BWBF, accessibility is more than a best practice, it’s a vital part of their mission. The new website will ensure that every visitor, regardless of ability, can explore the charity’s services, stories and resources with confidence and ease.

What We’ll Be Delivering:

  • A fully accessible website built to WCAG AA standards and beyond
  • Inclusive UX and UI design to support users with a range of visual impairments
  • Accessibility tools such as font-size selectors, keyboard navigation and high-contrast modes
  • Improved content structure for easier navigation and engagement
  • Stronger storytelling to highlight the life-changing impact of BWBF’s work

We’re working closely with the BWBF team to ensure the new platform is shaped by real insight, thoughtful design and lived experience. From the initial consultation through to testing and launch, every step of the journey is focused on inclusivity and impact.

For BWBF, the new website will not only improve accessibility, it will enhance reach, build trust, and ensure more people can benefit from their support.

We’re excited to be part of this important project and look forward to sharing more as it comes to life.

"Giant Digital's exceptional commitment to accessibility aligns perfectly with our values and objectives. We're confident that this website redesign will not only enhance our online presence but also significantly improve our ability to connect with and serve those who rely on our services. In today’s digital age, having an accessible website isn’t just a nice-to-have, it’s critical to ensuring people living with sight loss have the same access to information and support that others might take for granted."
