Celebrating Our Future Leaders

We’re proud to celebrate a major milestone for five members of the Giant team who have successfully reached their End Point Assessment on their Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor apprenticeships through our Future Leaders programme.
Over the last 18 months, Amanda McLeod, Gaby Frylinck, Tom Bannister, Will Hoey and Gwilym Evans have taken part in a structured blend of classroom learning and on-the-job experience. The programme was delivered in partnership with BIMA and accredited by ILM, with a focus on developing confident, capable leaders for the future.
All our apprentices have now completed their End Point Assessment and 100% of those who have received their grades received a distinction – an incredible achievement!
This accomplishment is a testament to the dedication, ambition and leadership qualities these individuals have shown. Each one brings something unique to their role, and we’re excited to see how their new skills continue to strengthen the way we deliver meaningful, mission-led digital products.
Real-world leadership skills
Throughout the programme, our Future Leaders have explored a range of practical and strategic leadership topics designed to enhance performance across teams, projects and client relationships. Modules included:
- Navigating change and uncertainty
- Coaching and mentoring others
- Project and resource planning
- Delivering results and managing performance
- Negotiation and influencing skills
- Effective communication and decision-making
These skills are already being applied across our teams, helping us deliver more confidently, collaborate more effectively, and support our clients with clarity and purpose.
Development that runs deep
At Giant, we believe in investing in our people. Whether it’s through formal qualifications, mentoring, or career coaching, we work hard to support each person’s growth. Our B Corp certification reflects this ongoing commitment to employee wellbeing and personal development.
In the past year alone, we have invested in over 122 days of training and development across the team. We’ve prioritised internal progression, worked one-to-one on personal growth plans, and supported future specialists in areas like accessibility, where colleagues are currently working towards globally recognised accreditations.
Our goal is simple. We want everyone at Giant to feel supported in building a career that matters.
To Amanda, Gaby, Tom, Will and Gwilym: thank you for answering the call to become a future leader, this is just the beginning.
